Solar Sensor: Description and Operation

The sunload sensor is located on the left side of the instrument panel defrost panel. The sunload sensor is a photodiode used to measure the amount of sunlight on the vehicle. The signal from the sunload sensor is sent to the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) climate control assembly.
