Outside Temperature Display Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.







3. Remove the outside air temperature sensor bracket bolt.

NOTE: The outside air temperature sensor is located behind the front bumper on the support in front of the A/C condenser core. The outside air temperature sensor can be serviced by working through the lower opening in the bumper.


4. Disconnect the outside air temperature sensor electrical connector and remove the outside air temperature sensor from the vehicle.
5. Remove the outside air temperature sensor bracket from the outside air temperature sensor by unscrewing the outside air temperature bracket nut.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten outside air temperature sensor bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 Lb-In).
