Special Tool(s) Required







REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the five engine and transmission splash shield bolts and two engine and transmission splash shield screws.
4. Remove the LH engine and transmission splash shield.
5. Disconnect the upstream heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
6. Use Oxygen Sensor Wrench 303-476 (T94P-9472-A) to remove the upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) from the exhaust inlet pipe.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten the upstream HO2S to 50-60 Nm (37-44 lb ft).
