Rear

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Hold the rear stabilizer bar link and bushing studs with a wrench and remove the two lower rear stabilizer bar link and bushing nuts. Disconnect the rear stabilizer bar from the rear stabilizer bar link and bushings.





3. Loosen, but do not remove, the two upper rear stabilizer bar bolts.





4. Remove the two lower rear stabilizer bar bolts.





5. Slide the rear stabilizer bar down until the rear stabilizer bar mounting brackets clear the loosened upper rear stabilizer bar bolts and remove it from the rear axle housing.





INSTALLATION
1. Position the rear stabilizer bar mounting brackets under the loosened upper rear stabilizer bar bolts. Tighten the two upper rear stabilizer bar bolts to 31-42 Nm (23-31 ft. lbs.).





2. Install the two lower rear stabilizer bar bolts. Tighten the lower rear stabilizer bar bolts to 31-42 Nm (23-31 ft. lbs.).





3. Position the rear stabilizer bar ends on the rear stabilizer bar link and bushings. Hold the rear stabilizer bar link and bushing studs with a wrench and install the two lower rear stabilizer bar link and bushing nuts. Tighten the lower rear stabilizer bar link and bushing nuts to 39-45 Nm (29-33 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
