Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the two Transmission Control Module (TCM) bolts.
3. Remove the TCM from behind the instrument panel.





4. Remove the TCM electrical connector bolt and disconnect the TCM electrical connector.
5. Remove the TCM.
