Front Wiper System

The windshield wiper/washer control knob on the multi-function switch controls the interval wiper function. When the windshield wiper/washer control knob is in any position in the S-F (interval: slow-fast) range, the windshield wipers make single wipes. The wipe cycle is timed by the desired pause set within the S-F range.

The windshield wiper governor is wired in series between the multi-function switch and the windshield wiper motor. It operates as a timer mechanism for the interval wiper function. It is located on the LH strut tower, directly below the hood support rod pivot.
