Washer System

The rear window washer switch is located on the upper RH side of the instrument panel finish panel, next to the rear window wiper switch. When the RR WASH button is depressed, the rear window washer will function until the RR WASH button is released. On vehicles equipped with an opening back window glass, the opening back window glass must be closed causing the opening back window glass switch to close and complete the circuit in order for the rear window washer system to operate. Each time the RR WASH button is depressed, the rear window wiper will run one full cycle and return to the park position. The rear window wiper will continue to run as long as the RR WASH button is depressed and then complete one cycle to the park position when the RR WASH button is released. Washer fluid is supplied to the rear window washer nozzle jet and bracket by the rear window washer pump from the windshield washer reservoir located behind the RH front fender. The rear window washer nozzle jet and bracket is attached to the underside of the rear window wiper pivot arm.
