Windshield Washer System

The windshield washer function is controlled by the windshield wiper/washer control knob on the multi-function switch. When the windshield wiper/washer control knob is pressed inward, the windshield washer function engages until the windshield wiper/washer control knob is released. Windshield wiper speed depends upon the position of the windshield wiper/washer control knob (OFF, S-F [interval range], LO, or HI).

The windshield washer nozzle jet and brackets are located on the cowl top vent panel.







The windshield washer reservoir is located behind the RH front fender and supplies washer fluid to both the windshield and rear window washer nozzle jets. The windshield washer pump, rear window washer pump and the windshield washer reservoir fluid level sensor are all located on the windshield washer reservoir.

The windshield washer switch is part of the multi-function switch.

The low washer fluid indicator is located on the lower RH side of the instrument cluster.

Two washer hoses begin at the windshield washer reservoir. One branches off to the windshield washer nozzle jet and brackets and the second runs along the upper RH side of the roof panel and ends at the rear window washer nozzle jet and bracket on the rear window wiper pivot arm.
