Component Tests and General Diagnostics
1. Key OFF.2. Remove accessory relay #2.
3. Use a jumper to connect terminals 2 and 5 of accessory relay #2 to the battery positive terminal.
4. Measure the voltage at terminal 3 under the following conditions.
Terminal 1 Terminal 3
Not connected Less than 1 volt
Connected to the battery negative terminal Greater than 10 volts
5. Use a jumper to connect terminals 2 and 7 of accessory relay #2 to the battery positive terminal.
6. Measure the voltage at terminal 6 under the following conditions.
Terminal 1 Terminal 6
Not connected Less than 1 volt
Connected to the battery negative terminal Greater than 10 volts
7. If the voltages in all cases are not as specified, then replace accessory relay #2. Otherwise, return to the Pinpoint Tests.
