Filling and Bleeding

1. Fill the radiator coolant recovery reservoir with a 50/50 mixture of Premium Engine Coolant E2FZ-19549-AA (green), recycled coolant, (in Oregon, F5FZ-19549-CC, in Canada, Motorcraft CXC-10), or Ford Extended Life Engine Coolant F6AZ-19544-AA (orange) or an equivalent DEX-COOL coolant or a coolant meeting Ford specification WSS-M97B44D and water.





2. Move the temperature blend selector to the full warm position.
3. Run the engine until it reaches operating temperature.
4. Add the proper engine coolant mixture to the radiator coolant recovery reservoir until the coolant level is between the "COOLANT FILL LEVEL" marks.
Recheck the coolant level and fill as needed.
5. Turn off the engine and allow the cooling system to cool.
Recheck the coolant level and fill the cooling system to the FULL mark on the radiator coolant recovery reservoir.
6. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 until the reservoir level is OK.
