HOOD SECONDARY LATCH REPLACEMENT

AFFECTED VEHICLES:
CERTAIN 1998-1999 EXPLORERS

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Remove hood secondary latch bolts and the hood secondary latch. See Figure 1.

2. Install the new hood secondary latch and the hood secondary latch bolts. Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
