P0450 - EVAP System Pressure Sensor Malfunction
The EVAP pressure sensor circuit is monitored by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The test fails if an improper voltage is sent to the PCM from the EVAP pressure sensor.Possible Causes:
- EVAP pressure sensor circuit is open or shorted
- Hoses to the EVAP pressure sensor are disconnected or clogged.
- EVAP pressure sensor
- EVAP canister vent control valve
- EVAP canister purge valve
- EVAP canister
- The rubber hose from the EVAP canister vent control valve to the water separator
Diagnostic Aids:
With no pressure applied to the EVAP pressure sensor the EVAP PS PID should read 3.0-3.6 Volts.
