P1705 - Throttle Position Sensor (A/T)

The Throttle Position (TP) sensor and the Throttle Position (TP) switch circuits are monitored by the Transaxle Control Module (TCM). The test fails when the TCM receives an excessively high or low voltage from the throttle position sensor.

Possible Causes:
- TP sensor circuit is open
- TP sensor circuit is shorted to VPWR
- TP sensor circuit is shorted to GND
- TP sensor
- TP switch circuit is open
- TP switch circuit is shorted to VPWR
- TP switch circuit is shorted to GND
- TP switch
