Power Seat Control Module: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the outboard front bucket seat riser trim panel.
1 Remove the four pin-type connectors.
2 Remove the seat riser trim cover.
3. Remove the Driver Seat Module (DSM) bracket rear screw.
4. Remove the DSM bracket side screw.
5. Remove the DSM.
1 Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2 Remove the DSM.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to learn the strategy.
