Hydraulic System: Testing and Inspection

LEAK CHECK
1. Check the brake fluid level. If the fluid level is below the MIN line on the brake master cylinder reservoir, add the required amount of High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AB or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M6C25-A, DOT 3.





2. Inspect the brake line nuts, hoses and the brake master cylinder reservoir for fluid leaks.
3. Inspect the remaining brake lines and hoses for fluid leaks.
4. Inspect the rear wheel cylinder for leaks.
5. Inspect the front disc brake calipers and rear brake wheel cylinders for leaks.
6. If a hydraulic leak is detected, repair as necessary.
