Typical VECI Decal:

Each vehicle is equipped with a Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Decal containing emission control data that applies specifically to that vehicle and engine. The specifications provided on the decal are critical to servicing systems.






The VECI decal is located under the hood next to the prop rod slot.

In addition to the tune-up specifications and procedures, the emission decal shows a schematic of the engine vacuum system.
