Instrument Cluster - Finish Panel

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Position the steering column into the full tilt position.
3. Place the gearshift lever into the 1 position.







4. Remove the ashtray/cup holder assembly.
1 Release the two locking tabs.
2 Remove the ashtray/cup holder assembly.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.







5. Remove the console cover.
1 Remove the four pin-type retainers.
2 Remove the console cover.







6. Remove the instrument panel center finish panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the instrument panel center finish panel.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.







7. Remove the headlamp switch finish panel.
^ Disconnect the electrical connectors.







8. Remove the instrument panel cluster finish panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the instrument panel cluster finish panel.
^ Disconnect the electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: when the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
