Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Damaged bulb(s)
^ Damaged Transmission Range (TR) sensor
^ Incorrectly adjusted TR sensor

Electrical
^ Blown Central Junction Box (CJB) fuse:
- F35 (10 A)
^ Damaged wiring harness
^ Loose or corroded connections
^ Damaged bulb(s)

3. If the concern is not Visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
