Diagnostic Reference Values

NOTE: For tests involving switches, the values will be switch OFF or ON.







NOTE: Reference values may vary approximately ±15% depending on operating conditions and other factors.

1. AC SW is on with A/C on.
2. A/C Relay is on with engine running and A/C on.
3. Off when the steering wheel is in neutral, on when it is turned.
4. On when Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is between 95°C (203°F) and 99°C (210°F) with A/C off, or when ECT is between 100°C (212°F) and 104°C (219°F) with A/C off and VSS at 19 kph (12 mph) or less or when ECT is between 100°C (212°F) and 104°C (219°F) with A/C on.
5. On when ECT is between 100°C (212°F) and 104°C (219°F) with A/C off and VSS at 20 kph (12 mph) or more. Or, when ECT is 105°C (221°F) or more.
