Front Fender: Service and Repair

FENDER

Removal and Installation

All
1. Remove the radiator grille opening panel reinforcement.
2. Remove the front wheel and tire assembly.






3. Remove the front rocker panel screw and pin-type retainer.







4. Remove the front rocker panel.
1. Remove the four pin-type retainers.
2. Remove the front rocker panel.

5. Remove the front fender splash shield.


RH Fender







6. Disconnect the radio antenna lead-in cable from the antenna base.







7. Position the speed control servo aside.
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Position the speed control servo aside.

LH Fender







8. Remove the battery junction box bracket bolts.

All







9. Remove the lower fender bolts.







10. NOTE: The front door must be open to gain access to the fender bolt.

Remove the fender bolt.







11. Remove the fender to radiator support bolt.







12. Remove the fender.
1. Remove the upper fender bolts.
2. Remove the fender.

13. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Transfer components as necessary.
