P0720 - Output Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
The Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor circuit is monitored by the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The test fails when the TCM does not receive the proper voltage from the output shaft speed sensor.Possible Causes:
^ The OSS sensor circuit is open
^ The OSS sensor circuit is shorted to VPWR
^ The OSS sensor circuit is shorted to GND
^ The OSS sensor
Diagnostic Aids:
The PSG PID should increase from zero as driving speed increases.
