P1336 - Crankshaft Position Sensor (Gear)
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor circuit is monitored by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The test fails when a chipping of the flywheel gear tooth is detected by the PCM.Possible Causes:
^ The CKP sensor circuit open
^ The CKP sensor circuit is shorted to PWR
^ The CKP sensor circuit is shorted to GROUND
^ CKP sensor
^ Flywheel
Diagnostic Aids:
Inspect the flywheel for chipped or damaged teeth.
