P1705 - Throttle Position Switch (A/T)
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) provides a Throttle Position (TP) signal to the TCM. The TP signal and the TP switch circuits are monitored by the TCM. The test fails when the TCM receives an excessively high or low voltage signal from the PCM or TP switch.Possible Causes:
^ TP signal circuit
^ Idle position circuit
^ Wide Open Throttle (WOT) signal circuit
^ TP switch
^ TCM
^ PCM
Diagnostic Aids:
Check the harnesses and connectors.
