Front Fender: Service and Repair

FENDER - FRONT

Removal







1. If equipped, remove the mud flap.
2. Remove the splash shield.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the pin-type retainers.
3 Remove the splash shield.







3. Remove the wiper arms.
1 Release the hook.
2 Remove the wiper arms.







4. Position the Cowl grille aside.
1 Remove the pin-type retainers.
2 Remove the screws.
3 Position the Cowl grille aside.







5. Remove the upper fender bolt.







6. Remove the inner fender bolts.







7. Remove the side marker lamp.
1 Remove the screw.
2 Remove the side marker lamp.







8. Remove the front fender to radiator support bolts.
- Remove the pin-type retainer.







9. Remove the fender to bumper cover bolts.







10. NOTE: The front door must be open to complete this step.

Remove the upper fender bolt.







11. NOTE: The front door must be open to complete this step.

Remove the lower fender bolt.







12. Remove the fender to rocker panel bolt.
13. Remove the fender.

Installation
1. Position the fender onto the vehicle.







2. Install the fender to rocker panel bolt.







3. NOTE: The front door must be open to complete this step.

Install the lower fender bolt.







4. NOTE: The front door must be open to complete this step.

Install the upper fender bolt.







5. Install the fender to bumper cover bolts.







6. Install the front fender to radiator support bolts.
- Install the pin-type retainers.







7. Install the side marker lamp.
1 Position the side marker lamp.
2 Install the screw.







8. install the inner fender bolts.







9. Install the upper fender bolt.







10. Install the cowl grille screws.







11. Install the splash shield.
1 Install the splash shield:
2 Install the pin-type retainers.
3 Install the screws.
