Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the fuel tank.







2. Remove the fuel pump.
1 Remove the fuel pump bolts.
2 Remove the fuel pump.
^ Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor electrical connector.

CAUTION: Tip the fuel pump while removing to avoid damage to the fuel level sensor.

NOTE: Make sure the top of the fuel tank is free of dirt.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Make sure to install a new fuel pump gasket.
