Overdrive Switch: Service and Repair

Transmission Control Switch -Overdrive

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Remove the lower steering column shroud.
^ Remove the steering column shroud screws.





3. Disconnect the electrical connector.





4. Disconnect the overdrive switch wiring clip.





5. Remove the snap ring from the gearshift lever.
^ Remove the overdrive switch.

Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
