Starter Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner-assembly.







3. Remove the electrical connector.
^ Unclip the wire clamp.







4. Remove the nuts.
1 Position the protective boot aside.
2 Remove the nuts.







5. Remove the starter motor.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the starter.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
