Arm - Suspension LowerRemoval
NOTE: Left side shown, right side similar.
1. Remove the suspension lower arm ball joint.
2. Remove the suspension lower arm bushing nut.
3. Remove the suspension lower arm and suspension lower arm gusset bolts.
4. Remove the suspension lower arm and suspension lower arm gusset.
5. Separate the suspension lower arm and the suspension lower arm gusset.
Installation
NOTE:
^ New fasteners for the front suspension components must be used when old fasteners are loosened or removed or when any suspension components are replaced. All suspension mounting points are rubber insulated to minimize the transfer of road noise and vibration to the vehicle body and interior. All front suspension components can be replaced individually.
^ Do not tighten the bolts in this step.
^ Use High Lift Trans Jack to raise the suspension lower arm so that it is parallel with the ground.
1. Install the lower arm gusset and suspension lower arm.
2. Install the suspension lower and gusset bolts as indicated.
3. Install the suspension lower arm bushing nut.
