Main Control Valve Body

Disassembly





1. Remove the filter.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the nut.
3 Remove the filter.





2. Remove the line pressure solenoid.
1 Remove the bolt.
2 Remove the solenoid from the valve body.





3. Remove the solenoids.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the solenoids from the valve body.





4. Remove the solenoid harness.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the harness.





5. Remove and discard the solenoid O-rings.





6. Remove the lower control valve body valves.
1 Remove the manual control valve.
2 Remove the Pressure Control (PC) solenoid valve spring.
3 Remove the PC solenoid valve.





7. NOTE: When separating the valve bodies, be careful to not lose any of the check balls.

Disassemble the valve bodies.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the nut.
3 Remove the lower control valve body.
4 Remove the upper control valve body.

Assembly





1. Assemble the valve bodies.
1 Position the upper control valve body.
2 Position the lower control valve body.
3 Install the nut.
4 Install the bolts.





2. Install the lower control valve body valves.
1 Install the manual control valve.
2 Install the Pressure Control (PC) solenoid valve.
3 Install the PC solenoid valve spring.





3. Install new O-rings on the solenoids.





4. Install the valve body solenoids.
1 Install the solenoids.
2 Install the bolts.





5. Install the pressure control solenoid.
1 Install the solenoid.
2 Install the bolt.





6. Install the solenoid harness.
1 Position the harness.
2 Install the bolts.





7. Install the filter.
1 Position the filter.
2 Install the nut.
3 Install the bolts.
