Torque Converter One-Way Clutch Check

1. NOTE: The one-way clutch should only rotate in a clockwise direction.

Check the one-way clutch.
1 Using the special tool, prevent the one-way bearing clutch from rotating.
2 Attempt to rotate the torque converter one-way clutch in both directions.
2. If the one-way clutch rotates in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, install a new torque converter.
