EXTERIOR LIGHTING

The exterior lighting system consists of the following components:
- headlamps
- headlamp/fog lamp switch (integrated as one switch)
- brake pedal position (BPP) switch
- fog lamps (if equipped)
- center high mounted stoplamp
- rear lamps
- reversing lamp switch (manual transmission only)
- parking lamps
- rear license plate lamps
- photocell sensor (if equipped)
- side turn signal lamp (Mountaineer)

Headlamp - Explorer
The headlamp system is a quad-beam pattern system. It consists of a low and high beam, with four replaceable seal beam bulbs.

Headlamp - Mountaineer
The headlamp system is a dual-beam pattern system. It consists of a low and high beam, with two replaceable seal beam bulbs. The headlamp assembly has the park/turn integrated on the top of the headlamp assembly.
