Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Description and Operation

The audio system consists of the following components:
^ audio unit
^ Steering Wheel Controls (SWC)

The audio controls on the steering wheel allow the driver to control volume, media selection, and memory presets. The audio controls are located on the right side of the steering wheel.

There are five audio systems available:
^ M100C AM/FM cassette radio
^ M100CD AM/FM/CD
^ DM100 AM/FM/cassette/CD (premium)
^ CDX6 AM/FM/6 disc CD in-dash (premium)
^ CDX6 AM/FM/6 disc CD in-dash (audiophile)

Radio Frequency Interference Suppression Equipment
The radio suppression equipment consists of the following components:
^ capacitor
^ ground strap (part of hood hinge)
^ ground strap (bulkhead to engine)
^ ground strap (body to frame)

The radio suppression equipment reduces interference transmitted through the radio speakers by the engine ignition and electrical systems.
