Wheel Hub





Special tool(s)

Removal and Installation





1. Remove and discard the nut.

2. NOTE: The wheel speed sensor connectors are located in the engine compartment and are secured to the fender aprons.





Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connector.
3. Remove the brake disc.

4. CAUTION: Do not use a hammer to separate the outboard CV joint from the hub. Damage to the threads and internal CV joint components may result.





Using the special tool, press the outboard CV joint until it is loose in the hub.





5. Detach the harness from the retainers.

6. CAUTION: Do not overextend the CV joint and boots when removing the wheel hub.





Remove the bolts, wheel hub and sensor as an assembly.
^ Discard the bolts.

7. NOTE: Apply a thin coat of silicone sealant to the wheel hub mounting surfaces before installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
