Rear Seat Backrest - Third Row
REAR SEAT BACKREST - THIRD ROWDisassembly and Assembly
1. Remove the third row seat backrest from the vehicle.
2. Depress the tabs and remove the two head restraints.
3. Remove the load floor from the seat backrest.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Rotate the rod 90 degrees and pull it out.
4. Separate the seat upholstery J-clips and hook and loop fasteners.
5. Remove the upholstery staples.
6. NOTE: The two types of head restraint rod guides, with and without release buttons, are not interchangeable. The locator tabs are different sizes. Mark the location of each guide during removal.
Squeeze the bottom end of the rod guide together and push the guide out of the frame tube.
7. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop fasteners to avoid tearing the fastener off of the seat foam.
Separate the hook and loop fasteners. Remove the upholstery from the foam cushion.
8. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
