Special Tool(s)

Removal
1. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.





2. Remove the cotter key.





3. Remove the wheel hub nut and washer.





4. Remove the stabilizer link nut.





5. Separate the suspension lower ball joint from the knuckle.
1 Remove the cotter pin.
2 Remove the nut.
3 Separate the suspension lower ball joint from the knuckle.





6. Separate the halfshaft from the transaxle.





7. Using the special tool, separate the halfshaft from the knuckle.





8. Remove the halfshaft.

Installation

NOTE: When seated properly, the driveshaft bearing retainer circlip can be felt as it snaps into the differential side gear groove.














1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
