Vehicle Damage Warnings
CAUTION:- To avoid damage to the clockspring, do not allow the steering column shaft to rotate while the intermediate shaft is disconnected.
- To avoid damaging the sun load sensor electrical connector, remove the grille just enough to remove the connector.
- To avoid damage to the instrument panel, an assistant is required to support the panel before carrying out this step.
- Before removing the instrument panel make sure all electrical connector wiring is free and not hindered.
