Test A7-A10:
Normal Operation
The adjustable pedal system uses a two-way motor to rotate cables that move the brake and accelerator pedal assemblies toward or away from the driver. The adjustable pedal switch receives power at all times from circuit 490 (RD). When the adjustable pedal switch is pressed in the forward or rearward position, power flows through circuit 1492 (LB/RD) (rearward) or circuit 1493 (PK/BK) (forward) to the adjustable pedal motor. Grounds are provided through circuit 1205 (BK).
Possible Causes
- Adjustable brake pedal motor
- Adjustable brake or accelerator pedal obstruction
- Adjustable brake or accelerator pedal cable(s)
- Circuit 490 (RD)
- Circuit 1205 (BK)
- Circuit 1492 (LB/RD)
