PINPOINT TEST AX: THE SAFETY BELT WARNING CHIME DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the safety belt warning chime input from the restraint control module (RCM) through circuit 1390 (DB). When the key is in the RUN position, the instrument cluster sounds the safety belt warning chime when it detects a ground at circuit 1390 (DB).

Possible Causes
- circuit 1390 (DB) open or shorted to ground
- instrument cluster
- safety belt switch
- restraint control module (RCM)
