PINPOINT TEST C: A SINGLE MIRROR DOES NOT FUNCTION WITH SWITCH LOGIC

Normal Operation
Under normal operation the exterior mirror control switch uses circuits 540 (RD), 541 (DB), 542 (YE), 543 (DG) or 544 (VT) to control the exterior mirror movement.
- When power is received through circuit 540 (RD)/543 (DG) and ground through circuit 542 (YE) the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate left.
- When ground is received through circuit 540 (RD)/543 (DG) and power through circuit 542 (YE) the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate right.
- When power is received through circuit 541 (DB)/544 (VT) and ground through circuit 542 (YE) the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate up.
- When ground is received through circuit 541 (DB)/544 (VT) and power through circuit 542 (YE) the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate up.

Possible Causes
- Open in circuits 540 (RD), 541 (DB), 543 (DG) or 544 (VT).
- Inoperative exterior mirror control switch.
- Inoperative exterior mirror motor.
