PINPOINT TEST E: DTCS B1990 and B2275: PEDAL FORWARD/REARWARD FEEDBACK CIRCUIT

Test E1-E3:

Test E4-E5:

Normal Operation
Depending on pedal position, the adjustable pedal potentiometer sends a resistance through feed back circuit 1491 (LB/YE) to the DSM; that value is stored in the DSM memory for recalling the position of the adjustable pedals.

Circuit 446 (OG/WH) carries a reference voltage from the DSM to the adjustable pedal potentiometer.

Circuit 447 (OG/RD) carries return voltage from the adjustable pedal potentiometer to the other DSM controlled memory system components.

Possible Causes
- Circuits 1491 (LB/YE), circuit 446 (OG/WH), or circuit 447 (OG/RD)
- Driver seat module (DSM)
- Adjustable pedal potentiometer
