INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

1. Tilt the steering column to the lowest position.
2. Disconnect the battery.







3. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

Item 1: Instrument Cluster Finish Panel Removal Note
1. The instrument cluster finish panel is held in place by spring clips located on the bezel.

Item 3: Instrument Cluster Removal Note
1. Before the instrument cluster is removed, it is necessary to download the instrument cluster configuration information from the instrument cluster to the diagnostic tool.

Item 5: Transmission Range Indicator Removal Note
1. Disconnect the cable and remove the nut.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 3: Instrument Cluster Installation Note

1. CAUTION: To avoid damage to the instrument cluster lens, place a protective cloth over the upper steering column before installing the instrument cluster.

Once the new instrument cluster is installed, it is necessary to download the instrument cluster configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new instrument cluster.
