Normal Operation
The generator output is supplied through the battery positive output (B+) circuit 2037 (RD) terminal on the rear of the generator to the battery and electrical system. During normal operation the charging system warning indicator is off with the ignition switch in the RUN position and the engine running. The charging system warning indicator is on with the ignition switch in the RUN position and the engine off.

Possible Causes
- battery
- generator
- high key-off current drain(s)
- engine, generator and battery grounds
- positive battery cable
- generator B+ circuit 2037 (RD) high resistance
