Transaxle Cooling





Vehicles without Trailer Towing Package
The transaxle fluid cooling system consists of
^ a non-repairable integral fluid cooler located in the RH radiator tank
^ a fluid cooler inlet tube assembly
^ a fluid cooler outlet tube assembly
^ retaining clips

The transmission fluid flows from the transaxle, through the fluid cooler inlet tube assembly, through the integral fluid cooler, and returns to the transaxle through the fluid cooler outlet tube assembly.

Vehicles with Trailer Towing Package
The transaxle fluid cooling system consists of:
^ a non-repairable integral fluid cooler located in the RH radiator tank
^ an Oil-To-Air (OTA) fluid cooler
- A portion of the OTA fluid cooler also cools the power steering fluid.
^ a fluid cooler inlet tube assembly
^ a fluid cooler outlet tube
^ a tube assembly
^ retaining clips
^ fluid cooler hoses
^ hose clamps

The transmission fluid flows from the transaxle, through the fluid cooler inlet tube assembly, through the integral fluid cooler, through the fluid cooler outlet tube, through the OTA fluid cooler, and then returns to the transaxle through the tube assembly.
