Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Service and Repair

INSTRUMENT PANEL

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

REMOVAL
1. If removing the instrument panel, remove the driver air bag module.
2. If removing the instrument panel, remove the passenger side air bag module.
3. If removing the instrument panel, remove the LH and RH windshield side garnish mouldings.
4. If removing the instrument panel, remove LH and RH A-pillar lower trim panels.

5. Remove the parts in the order indicated in illustration and table.

To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps.

Item 6: Utility Compartment Removal Note
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Item 7: Defroster Grille Removal Note
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Item 35: Instrument Panel Removal Note
1. An assistant is required to carry out this procedure.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
