CAUTION: Use the flex probe kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
Normal Operation
The brake pedal switch has 12 volts when the ignition is in the ON position. When the brake is applied, voltage to the ABS module is removed. This normally closed switch is powered by the SIB on circuit 601 (LB/PK) and feeds the ABS module on circuit 535 (LB/RD).
Possible Causes
^ circuit 535 (LB/RD) open, short to power or ground
^ circuit 601 (LB/PK) open, short to power or ground
^ BEC
^ ABS module
^ HCU
^ speed control deactivation switch
^ BPP switch
