PINPOINT TEST AO: THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY DOES NOT TURN OFFTest AO1-AO3:
Test AO3-AO4:
Normal Operation
12 volts are supplied to the accessory delay relay 1 on circuit 296 (WH/VT) from the BEC fuse 10 (30A). The SJB activates the accessory delay relay 1 by switching the coil side of the relay to ground when the ignition is in the ON position. The SJB keeps the coil side of the relay grounded after the ignition is turned to the OFF position for an additional 10 minutes, or until the driver door is opened. While the accessory delay relay 1 is activated, 12 volts are supplied to the LH window control switch on circuit 170 (RD/LB) for the RH window. 12 volts are also supplied to the RH window control switch on circuit 170 (RD/LB) and to the quarter window control switch on circuit 194 (PK).
Possible Causes
- circuit 194 (PK) short to voltage
- circuit 170 (RD/LB) short to voltage
- accessory delay relay 1
- SJB
