Test T4:
Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the blower motor is provided a ground from the resistor through circuit 515 (OG/RD). The resistor gets a ground from the rear auxiliary blower switch, depending on selected speed, through circuit 261 (OG/BK), 269 (LB/OG) or circuit 260 (RD/OG). In the HI blower selection, the switch provides ground directly to the motor through circuit 515 (OG/RD). The rear auxiliary blower switch is provided ground from the front auxiliary blower switch, through circuit 1121 (DG/YE), when the REAR position is selected.
Possible Causes
- An open, short to ground or together in circuits 515 (OG/RD), 261 (OG/BK), 269 (LB/OG), 260 (RD/OG) or 1121 (DG/YE).
- Front auxiliary climate control assembly.
- Rear auxiliary climate control assembly.
