Cylinder head bolts LH
Tighten the LH cylinder head bolts in six stages in the sequence shown.
Tighten bolts 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Tighten bolts additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Back out all the bolts one full turn (360 degrees).
Tighten bolts 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Tighten bolts additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Tighten bolts additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Cylinder head bolts RH
Tighten the RH cylinder head bolts in six stages in the sequence shown.
Tighten bolts 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Tighten bolts additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Back out all the bolts one full turn (360 degrees).
Tighten bolts 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Tighten bolts additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Tighten bolts additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
CAUTION: The cylinder head bolts must be discarded and new bolts installed. They are torque-to-yield designed and cannot be reused.
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
Intake manifold bolts 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
Camshaft bearing cap bolts 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
Exhaust manifold - RH
Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown.
Exhaust manifold nuts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold-LH
Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown.
Exhaust Manifold Nuts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
