Normal Operation

NOTE: The rear window wiper operates only if the ignition switch is in the ON or ACC position, and the liftgate glass and liftgate are fully closed.

The rear wiper motor is controlled by the SJB. The SJB supplies power to the rear wiper motor through circuit 411 (BK/LB) from the integrated rear wiper relay and through circuit 406 (BN/WH) from the SJB fuse 21 (10A). The multifunction switch applies ground to circuit 485 (PK/BK) for low speed wipe or applies ground to circuit 410 (WH/OG) for intermittent wipe. The multifunction switch and the rear wiper motor are grounded through circuit 57 (BK).

Possible Causes
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 406 (BN/WH) open
- circuit 411 (BK/LB) open
- circuit 485 (PK/BK) open
- rear wiper motor
- multifunction switch
