INSTRUMENT CLUSTERRemoval and Installation
CAUTION: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.
1. Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS).
2. Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
3. Remove the 2 screws and the instrument cluster finish panel.
4. Remove the 4 instrument cluster screws and the instrument cluster.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Following installation of the new instrument cluster, download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module.
